I have been LARPing since I was 15 years old. I started by playing in the local NERO chapter PRO. After a few years, I began running events with the NERO chapter ARGO based out of Meadville, Pennsylvania, led by Robert S. Conley of Bat in the Attic Games. When Rob retired from running the chapter, I ran content for the new owners, Bill Hoffman and Matt Armstrong, before taking a break for several years to focus on my career.
I attended NERO Elkins in 2013 and assisted with running events that summer before taking over as gamemaster with Chris Colland. We ran the game for another year before Matt Taylor (the owner) closed the game down.
When NERO POLAR reopened in Pittsburgh in 2022, I assisted Chris Colland and Brittany Perry in writing, editing, and prop-making for their opening event and four additional events before leaving due to poor conduct by John Thompson, the owner of the game, in 2024.
I worked with Crestfallen LARP from 2022 to 2024, developing their website, creating props, editing, and writing plot. I had to stop working with the owner, Beren Olean, because he allowed Vince Errico to spread the lie that I had “stolen” his LARP designs. This was untrue, and I was unable to work with a game that does not have my back.
Since then, I have focused on improving my graphic design and tabletop game-running skills. I produced a rulebook for a local Pittsburgh Naruto LARP and ran Inheritance at a local game convention.
