Daedalus food

At the top : She dislikes red meat a lot. She will not eat beef unless she is forced, and she dislikes it when she does. Pork is ok for her, but she does not enjoy it.

  • Burrito bowls/burritos with : black beans (there are seasoning packets that are great for this), rice, cheese, plain yogurt, guac, black olives, grilled chicken (she won’t eat salsa though)
  • Quesadillas
  • Baked potatoes with any/all of the following : butter, full fat plain yogurt (we like the texture more than sour cream), cheese, black olives, salt, turkey bacon (any/all of those)
  • Sesame chicken/mandarin orange chicken (TJ’s has this frozen) with white rice
  • Perogies with plain yogurt (chicken sausage makes a great side with this, and Costco has some good ones)
  • Pasta with any of these : white sauce + chicken + broccoli, butter + chicken sausage + topped with cheese, cheese sauce
  • Turkey burgers with iceberg lettuce and cheese and mayo (WF has buns that work)
  • Turkey or chicken hot dogs with mayo, cheese, ketsup (TJ’s buns I believe are corn-free, WF are for sure)
  • Meatballs (sides are harder for this, she doesn’t eat them in things, she likes them like we had them at that one game night)
  • Pot pies, chicken or turkey
  • Breakfast for dinner : hashbrowned potatoes (shred them, cook them in the pan extra crispy, scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey bacon, buttered toast
  • Ravioli : she will not eat a red sauce with any pasta, so we just use butter and salt on hers, with a side of chicken sausage, cheese ravioli is the best kind for her
  • Ramen with stuff in it : no mushrooms, corn, or onions, but lots of traditional ramen stuff is fine/great
  • Lo Mein : again no corn or mushrooms or beef, but she’s been happy with everything else that generally goes in it
